UNLEASHED!

Reward your hard work by attending this retreat where you can relax as you reflect on your past work, refine your skills, refocus on what you believe in, and rejuvenate for the future.

VISION believes that social change starts with the individual. As such, our 2006 Retreat, Unleashed: Discovering the Superhero Within You is all about meeting your needs as a person. We recognize that, in order to do effective community work, you need to invest in yourself first.

This three-day retreat is a great opportunity to meet other people who want to create social change and engage in interactive activities to refine your skills for working on community issues.

There is also free time to explore the beautiful Camp Lakamaga and plenty of homemade Hmong food.

The retreat is for anyone who has ever asked the following questions:

  • Why work towards the betterment of the Hmong community at all?
  • If we want to create a better community, how would that look? What do I want to see?
  • What are the issues that I really care about?
  • How can I be more effective in my work?
  • Where can I get my support for what I believe in?
  • How do I sustain my passion for the long run?
